I was introduced to Sir William Osler's writings by my cardiothoracic surgeon (I had an operation done for a recurrent pneumothorax back in my JC days) when I ran into him at a bookstore years ago. Since then, Sir William Osler's writings and addresses have served as my inspiration and motivation as I strive to be a better medical student, and future physician.
