Should I drive?

  1. You can drive on the first day of TTSH posting. The CSO will require you to fill up a form for carpark application, so do take note of your IU number (located on the left side of your IU) as the information is needed. You have to sign up for a car park sticker at the security office which is at the basement carpark. The good news is that it is free. The bad news is that the allocated carpark for students is really far away from the hospital, which is near the Artificial Limb Centre.

You can actually park for free at the Communicable Disease Centre which is slightly nearer to the hospital, or just park at the ALC. So what is the car park sticker for? Nothing. But the last time I noted that the security at CDC do check once in awhile, so just apply for the sticker and put it on your car (and it does look quite cool with a TTSH sticker J)

  1. There are no limits to the number of people in a CG who can apply for passes.
  2. It takes about 5-10min to walk up the slope to TTSH so do remember to put aside time for walking.
